The "Battlefield 4" DLC release date may be set for next month.

According to a post on VG24/7, Battlefield 4 DLC release date for the map pack, Second Assault" should be arriving to PC in February. This report about the possible Battlefield 4 DLC release date apparently came from an EA representative.

Reportedly, the information particularly came from a web-chat between 'Dhruv', an Origin user and a team member from EA's Customer Experience. Asked about the Battlefield 4 DLC release date for PC, the representative answered, "It should be available in the month of February 2014."

According to the chat, Premium members will get the Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC two weeks before the other players.

As posted on Now Gamer, Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC is a timed-exclusive for Xbox One, however, "it seems reasonable to assume that DICE will want to roll out the DLC at around the same time for other platforms" such as on PC. The upcoming Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC is also set to arrive for PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Second Assault is the 2^nd DLC pack for Battlefield 4. According to IGN, the map pack will include 4 redesigned maps which were originally featured from Battlefield 3:

Caspian Border

Gulf of Oman

Operation Metro

Operation Firestorm

However, despite these reports about Battlefield 4 DLC release date, EA or DICE has not yet provided an official word about the release of Second Assault for PC, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360.
