The 2014 American Cup in gymnastics is quickly approaching, and the official line-up for the event has been unveiled.

Originally, the line-up for the 2014 American Cup included these gymnastics champions.

In total, this 2014 American Cup line-up includes 10 Olympians and five World medalists.

Sadly, Kyla Ross has recently pulled out of the competition due to injury. The same thing occurred last year, when Ross chose only to perform an exhibition at the 2013 American Cup, and Simone Biles replaced her.

The 2014 AT&T American Cup will take place on March 1 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in North Carolina.

“This is an incredibly strong field for both the men and women,” said USA Gymnastics president Steve Penny.

“Seven men and all eight women finished in the top 12 in the all-around at the 2013 World Championships. With the Winter Olympics taking place in February, the AT&T American Cup marks the beginning of the Road to Rio for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.”
