Yuna Kim Ready For Mao Asada [VIDEO] Showdown At 2014 Sochi Olympics As Ashley Wagner Prepares 'Vicious' Last-Minute Program Change

As the 2014 Sochi Olympics begins, the ladies figure skating events will have the media spotlight on several talented, including Yuna Kim, Mao Asada, and Ashley Wagner.

"Seeing Sochi 2014 and the Olympic rings everywhere, you known, I kind of half to pinch myself," said Ashley Wagner according to Yahoo Sports.

The same cannot be said for Mao Asada and Yuna Kim, both of whom competed and earned medals at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.

Now, four years later, Yuna Kim and Mao Asada will once again have their showdown for Olympic gold.

"The time has come. That's how I feel," said Mao Asada before leaving Tokyo for Sochi according to Korea Times.

"My physical fitness and skating have been very good since the start of the year. I will adjust my condition after arriving in Sochi and go out competing with a positive attitude."

Meanwhile, Yuna Kim seems poised to compete against her fellow figure skaters, but repeats again and again that she does not feel the pressure to gain another Olympic gold.

"Many people talk about winning two straight gold medals, but I'm not focusing on defending the title. I just hope to do everything I've prepared to do," said Yuna Kim.

"As long as I can do that, I think the results will follow and I should be able to end my career without regrets."

Meanwhile, Ashley Wagner is attempting something very unorthodox—changing her program weeks before the Olympics.

"It is absolutely crazy, insane that I decided to change it, but I am so passionate about what I do and so driven to get onto that Olympic podium, I just felt in my heart that program was not going to get me there," said Ashely Wagner.

"It's a big risk."

Now, Ashley Wagner is ditching her "Romeo & Juliet" free skate for "Samson & Delilah," her program from last season.

"This music makes me competitive, this is the one that kind of raises the hair on my arms, gets me excited to go out there and be vicious."
