Taecyeon and Choi Hwa Jung are acting their hearts out on the set of "Very Good Times".

In the upcoming drama series, Taecyeon plays a hot-tempered body guard named Kang Dong Hee. Choi Hwa Jung plays Ha Young Choon, who is Dong Hee's mom unbeknownst to him.

The first scene that featured the two actors' interaction was shot in front of a police station on January 19th. Their first meeting was amiable, with Choi Hwa Jung leading the conversation about how they should act their individual parts.

When they began shooting, however, they transformed into their roles perfectly. Kang Dong Hee, played by Taecyeon, began to yell in anger at Ha Young Choon for visiting him. Ha Young Choon, played by Choi Hwa Jung, looked utterly helpless as she began to unpack the food that she prepared for him despite Kang Dong Hee's protest.

Taecyeon confessed that he had a very hard time trying to prepare for the role. He said about the character, "This guy is a headcase that punches before he thinks. His quick tempered reactions are really something that I need to think upon and research in order to perfectly portray for the camera."

The producers are already raving about Taecyeon and Choi Hwa Jung's acting, saying that their great acting is one of the greatest selling points of the drama.

"Very Good Times" is the story of a man who becomes an attorney despite his poverty-stricken youth. He returns to his hometown to discover family and love. How Taecyeon and Choi Hwa Jung's roles are related to the main storyline is yet to be revealed.
