Ashley Wagner Not Retiring After Sochi Olympics: US Figure Skating Shares Twitter News After Viral Reaction Meme!

As the 2014 Sochi games heads towards the ladies figure skating competition, US Figure Skating appears to be hinting that Ashley Wagner is not retiring after this Olympics.

After arriving at her first Olympic games, Ashley Wagner is already making a name for herself for her viral reaction to her low Team Event score.

Now, Ashley Wagner along with her teammates Gracie Gold and Polina Edmunds, is training in Austria until the ladies competition officially begins on February 19 with the short program.

At 22, Ashley Wagner is several years older than her closest American competitors like Gold (18) and Edmunds (15), so many are expecting her to retire at these games.

However, a recent tweet from the US Figure Skating Twitter account seems to imply otherwise.

"Good to know she is staying in!!" writes Michael Buckley on Twitter in response to this tweet.

Should Ashley Wagner try to compete until the next Winter Olympics, she will be 26. It's uncertain how long the two-time national champion plans to keep skating, but certainly her fans are excited at the news.

If Ashley Wagner continues skating after Sochi, do you think she will be able to remain competitive with her young upstarts?
