Women's hockey gold medal game Canada vs USA to be played on Thursday as both teams took care of business Monday in Sochi at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Team Canada came out firing on all cylinders vs Switzerland in the semi-final game. They scored three goals within the first 10 minutes. That was all they could muster up, eventually winning the game 3-1. Meanwhile, the other powerhouse of women's hockey, USA, defeated Sweden 6-1, advancing to the gold medal game.

The gold medal game will take place at 12:00 p.m. ET on Thursday Feb. 20. This will be a rematch from the finals four years ago. In Vancouver, Canada took home the gold vs USA, while the Americans had to settle for a silver medal.

Last Wednesday, Canada got the 3-2 victory with two goals in the third period to defeat USA in group-play. Thanks to the realignment, pitting the four best teams in the world against one another, both teams finished as the one and two seeds for elimination and receiving byes to the semi-finals.

Canada finished 3-0, while USA finished 2-1. The Americans were able to avoid playing a tough Finland team with the best goaltender in the world in Noora Raty. This has become a matchup that was anticipated, but anything can happen at the Olympics. Upsets are common, but in the end, the two best teams in the world will meet one more time.
