Men's hockey Canada vs Latvia live stream: Watch online free Olympics 12:00 ET Wednesday as Team Canada looks to get back to the semi-finals, but has to face a Latvia team that is coming off its first win in Sochi.

Latvia finished 0-3 in its group, earning the 11th seed of 12 for the elimination portion. They won 1-0 vs a Switzerland team that had defeated them previously and finished sixth overall. Their opponents, Team Canada went 3-0 at the Olympics. They finished as the three seed, but might be fortunate to face a team that only has one win going into the quarterfinals. Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price, who started the first and last game for Canada in group play, was named the starter by coach Mike Babcock. Price allowed one goal in each of his starts, only having to make a combined 33 saves, but he stepped it up in an overtime to get the three seed over Finland.

"I'm actually just trying to do the same thing I do in Montreal," Price said about his mentality in net. "You're not getting as many shots, but whenever they're in the zone you just try and find that zone that you're in regularly as when you're facing 30, 35 shots."

Latvia will be playing in its first quarterfinals in Olympic history. They know this is a stacked opponent on Wednesday.

"One of the greatest hockey teams ever to play hockey," forward Kaspars Daugavins, who played in the NHL for the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins, told the IIHF website of the Canadians. "It's going to be really tough for us, but we're going to try to give them a hard time. You never know. Miracles have happened before."
