Skylar Diggins, 22-year-old WNBA basketball star, got a feature in the new Sports Illustrated issue. That's not new, Skylar has gotten text and photos before, but that was all on the court. Diggins hits the 2014 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

It's the 50^th Anniversary for the Sports Illustrated's  Swimsuit beauties and athletes Alex Morgan and Anastasia Ashley are also coming off the field onto the beach. Skylar Diggins is one of the hottest female players in the league.

Former Notre Dame basketball star, Skylar took to Twitter to shoot out the news, tweeting "It's such an amazing honor to join so many beautiful, wonderful women in #SISwim50! Make sure to get your copy!!"

Diggins is a native of Indiana. She led her high school team to the state championships for four years straight and got a basketball scholarship to Notre Dame. She's also played for South Bend Washington.

Alex Morgan as the two professional athletes to pose in the 2014 SI Swimsuit issue (sorry Anastasia Ashley, we're not counting you). Diggins had a little trouble getting over the feelings of seeing herself in the famous magazine. She tweeted "surreal" on Tuesday night as the caption for the photo seen above.

Portland Thorns star Alex Morgan, who is also featured Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, said it was "an amazing honor to join so many beautiful, wonderful women" in the issue.

Diggins is a five-time USA Basketball gold medalist. She captained the 2010 USA Under-19 World Championship Team, 2011 USA World University Games Team and 2012 USA 3x3 World Championship Team. Diggins was Tulsa Shock's No. 3 overall first round pick in the 2013 WNBA Draft.
