The ladies short program competition at the 2014 Sochi Olympics has ended, and the rivalry between Yuna Kim and Mao Asada is no more.

Yuna Kim, the reigning Olympic gold medalist, sits in first place once again at Sochi after the short program.

After delivering a stunning "Send in the Clowns," Yuna Kim scored 74.92.

Sitting less than a point beneath her are Russia's Adelina Sotnikova (74.64) and Italy's Carolina Kostner (74.12).

Akiko Suzuki of Japan sits in 8th place with 60.97, while Kanako Murakami sits in 15th with 55.60.

The biggest shocker of the night is Mao Asada, who sits in 16th with 55.51 after falling on her triple axel and missing her jump combination.

Will Yuna Kim win gold again?
