“Obviously, it's extremely special and I'm very much looking forward to meeting them,” said Collins, whose jersey has become a top seller according to the NBA.

Collins is wearing the number 98 jersey to honor Shepard.

Denver coach Brian Shaw is hoping for his team to bounce back from Tuesday night’s defeat against the Blazers, where they lost 100-95 after the huge effort the team has shown in the fourth quarter to get the game close before the final buzzer sounded.

"The effort that they showed for the majority of that fourth quarter is the effort that we have to come out with from the beginning of the game," Shaw said. "I didn't think we had that in the first quarter and that resulted in an 11-point deficit in the first quarter."
