Friends Reunion 2014: Jennifer Aniston is said to be the last holdout to a "Friends" reunion. But the rest of the cast of "Friends" also seem to be too busy to move forward with plans for a reunion special.

Courteney Cox says her ex-husband had a perfect strategy for a "Friends" reunion Courteney said David Arquette came up with the great idea "What if you guys do an episode of Friends every Thanksgiving. Just come back for that one week to say what is everyone doing in the last year. And we didn't listen, we didn't do it, so now it's too late."

The cast of "Friends" is keeping busy. Matt LeBlanc is doing his best work in years on the Showtime series "Episodes," playing Matt LeBlanc. Courteney Cox is a cougar on "Cougar Town." Lisa Kudrow has been starring in court room appearance. Jennifer Aniston is hot off "The Millers," has a new movie and a new haircut. Not sure what David Schwimmer's doing, will check tomorrow. Matthew Perry is going to reboot the classic TV series, and Neil Simon play and movie, "The Odd Couple."

Jennifer Aniston, hot off her role in "We're the Millers" is set to star in the indie drama "Cake."Jennifer Aniston plays Claire Simmons, "a woman who becomes fascinated by the suicide of Nina, a woman in her chronic pain support class" who is "acerbic" and "hilarious."  Not all of Jennifer Aniston's movies have been blockbusters. Certainly none have been as big as Friends.

The cast of Friends might have to reunite just to help Lisa Kudrow pay off her manager. Lisa Kudrow owes $1.6 million. Media reports say a Los Angeles County jury ordered Lisa Kudrow to pay her former manager $1.6 million in residuals from her work on "Friends."

In a lawsuit filed by Scott Howard, Lisa Kudrow's manager claimed he had an oral agreement with Kudrow a was owed a percentage of her earnings on the hit NBC sitcom Friends. The case began in 2008, one year after Kudrow and Howard went their separate ways. Howard claims that when he and Kudrow split after 16 years of working together, the actress stopped paying him.

The "Friends" reunion in 2014  would also have to break up Matthew Perry's "The Odd Couple." Deadline reports that Matthew Perry will play messy sportswriter Oscar Madison. Perry just played a sports radio announcer on "Go On" so it's probably close to his heart. No word on who will be playing Felix Unger yet, but hey, who ever it is, FU. Perry hasn't done well on series TV since Friends ended in 2004. "Studio 60," "Mr. Sunshine" and "Go On," which I always pronounced as GOON, all sank fairly quickly. Matthew Perry and Courtney Cox reunited on Cougar Town.

Matthew Perry, who played Courteney's on-screen husband in Friends and who is now working her new show Cougar Town, said "We're so comfortable. The only difficulty was to remind ourselves that we don't know each other, in this episode. We're strangers that meet. I lose my insurance, my car insurance, because I'm not that bright, and I end up hitting his car and then I have to flirt my way out of it and hope that he won't ... claim it, because I can't pay it."

Matt LeBlanc is good with his "Friends" past even as he makes fun of it on "Episodes." Matt LeBlanc will always be Joey Tribbiani. That kid from Brooklyn he played on "Friends" with Jennifer Aniston and the rest of the crew at the coffee shop, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and, Matthew Perry.

On his Showtime series "Episodes," where he plays Matt LeBlanc, the actor, a version of himself who can't get past his "Friends" days, he's stuck on a show called "Pucks," which only got made on his name. And was ruined by Joey Tribbiani as more and more compromises were made to make the British writers' show more palatable to American audiences.

The show references "Friends." It references "Joey," the "Friends" spinoff that co-starred Drea de Matteo, who played Adriana on the HBO classic gangster series "The Sopranos."

Matt LeBlanc played Joey Tribbiani for 10 seasons on "Friends." Matt LeBlanc is good with that.

LeBlanc told Boston Common "I'll always be known for Friends-so will Matthew [Perry], David [Schwimmer], Courteney [Cox]. It's OK with me. I can only speak for myself, but I'm very proud of it. I wouldn't do anything differently."
