Paul Pierce is with the Brooklyn Nets now but for many NBA fans, especially those from the TD Garden, the Truth will forever be a Boston Celtics. Pierce spent almost 13 years with the team that drafted him in 1998 until he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets along with Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry for future first-round picks in the 2014, 2016, and 2018 drafts. The deal also includes Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Kris Joseph, MarShon Brooks, and Keith Bogans.

With the long history between Pierce and Celtics, is it possible that they will be reunited in the future? For the 36-year old veteran, he's not ruling out the idea.

Jared Weiss of SB Nation's Celticsblog that Pierce didn't even hesitate to answer when asked if he wants to don the white and green jersey again.

"Yeah, why not?" Pierce said when asked if he would possibly play for the Celtics again. "Maybe as a player, maybe as a coach. Who knows what the future holds?"

"I am going to still have relationships here. I'm always going to come to this city. Every year, when I'm done, I'm going to have a reason to come here."

This is the second time that Pierce visited the fans who cheered him for more than 10 years. The first time, he and Garnett were given a tribute video that he is grateful for.

The second time, he said that he is still very emotional about the return, more emotional than the first.

"It's always emotional when you step into a gym you've spent your whole life playing in," Pierce said.

"The tribute last time made it so much more emotional and the cheers. But every time I come into this gym, because I'm always seeing friends and people who have been around all the years, it's always going to be emotional, because you miss them from knowing them so long."

That feeling seems to have gotten in the way of Pierce as he only managed to score 10 points in 4 out of 11 shooting. Brooklyn Nets lost, 84-91.
