Lebron James Return To Cleveland Being Pushed By Including Kevin Love And LaMarcus Aldridge; Will This Be Enough To Make James Say Yes?

Lebron James and the team that drafted him, the Cleveland Cavaliers, had a fall out when the four-time MVP announced that he will take his talents to South Beach. Although their separation was a bit painful for Ohio fans, Cavs still want him back, like a martyr hoping for two-timer husband to change his mind. Team owner Dan Gilbert even arranged Zydrunas Ilgauskas's jersey retirement based on James' schedule to make sure that their one night affair will happen.

With Cavs' door wide open for a Lebron come back, several NBA trade rumors surfaced but none of which were confirmed. It is no secret that James wants a championship caliber team and the Ohio-based franchise is far from that level. However, in the latest development (but still a rumor), NBA stars surfaced to lure James back to Cleveland.

According to a report by the Jason Lloyd of Ohio.com, the team is now looking at Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves and LaMarcus Aldridge of the Portland Trailbazers. Both these players appeared at the All-Star Game in New Orleans and are key pieces in their respective teams' campaign. The news portal wrote:

Yes, the Cavs underachieved this season. Yes, (Chris) Grant tried feverishly for the past two years, but could never find that second star to pair with Kyrie Irving and ultimately serve as the bait to lure James back to the Cavs.

But the Cavs privately believe it's not too late. They still have the assets to pull off a mammoth trade this summer at the draft, the type Grant tried so hard to make. Kevin Love will be entering the final year of his contract, as will LaMarcus Aldridge. Grant tried for two years to unsuccessfully pry both stars out of their current cities, but each had too many years left on their contracts for their current teams to consider it. That's no longer true.

If either the Minnesota Timberwolves or Portland Trail Blazers come to the conclusion they can't re-sign their stars, this summer is the time to move them and the Cavs will be at the front of the line, stocked with young players and future draft picks.
