The Toronto Raptors (35-26) lead the series 2-1 vs the Brooklyn Nets (31-30) this season. They've won the last two meetings and the second win came because of a mistaking inbound pass with seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. In each team's last 10 games, they've both been dominant. Brooklyn has gone 7-3 in its last 10 games, but Toronto has gone 8-2, including three straight victories. The Raptors latest victory put them nine games over .500 for the first time since 2006-07, which was the same season the Raptors claimed their only division title.

"We try to keep everybody's spirits high even if it's not going well on the basketball court and we don't let nothing get down on us," DeMar DeRozan, who scored 25 and is averaging 29.7 points in his last three games against Brooklyn, told NBA.com. "That's the cool thing about our team. We continue to keep it going."

Marcus Thorton has become a great pickup for the Nets at the trade deadline. He had 27 points, 15 of which came in the fourth quarter during Sunday's victory over the Kings. He has scored 20-plus three times in seven games for the Nets -- matching his total in 46 with the Kings this season.

"I credit my teammates for finding me in spots I can be effective in," said Thornton, who was coming off a 1-for-9, four-point performance in a loss Friday at Boston. "And my shots were going down."
