After losing back-to-back games, Marian Hossa's return to the lineup helped Chicago win 4-1 over Detroit. After missing five games with an upper-body injury, Hossa returned with a goal and two assists as Chicago improved to 13-0-1 in his multipoint games, according to NHL.com.

"He changes the look, the complexion of our line, of our team game," coach Joel Quenneville, whose team went 2-3-0 with Hossa out of the lineup and was held to two goals in four of those games, told NHL.com. "We seem to have the puck a lot more when he's out there. He made some nice finished plays and he definitely had some nice jump to his game, as well. It made a big difference having him back tonight."

Philly is a part of a very tight race for the second and third place in the Metropolitan Division to go along with the two wild card spots in the Eastern Conference. It's been back and forth over the past month or two, but the Flyers do currently hold second place in the division, albeit by one point.

"We don't want to finish eighth or seventh," Flyers captain Claude Giroux said after a 4-0 shutout win Saturday against the Penguins. "We want to finish higher. We want home-ice advantage. It's there for us to take but we have to keep playing like this."
