Jang Geun Suk revealed himself for the first time in a while through his photo shoot and interview with marie claire. He showed himself the way he is without any extra glamour.

He said, "Celebrity could also be a product and a brand. But just because they seem to be flawless on the outside doesn't mean they're perfect. I wish I was a glass box that you could see the inside of. At least with my fans, I feel like we look at each other as if we are looking through glass boxes."

He is currently getting some rest after running for so long. He said, "I want to live as an actor for as long as I can. So one thing that I really need to be stable in is choosing which works to do. I can't say that every work that I choose will do well or that it was a good choice to make. But I think the scars and the little thorns are what makes it beautiful too."
