"(His back) was sore in the walkthrough today, but he was able to go through it so I didn't think much of it," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "It just didn't get better by game-time so it was a pretty easy decision on our part. We'll see how he feels when we get back to Miami."

Also feeling unsure about his health, Dwyane Wade, who had bloody nose in their recent game against the Celtics, is hoping that he would be better come game time after getting blood before and during their last outing.

"I didn't feel right the whole time I was out there, tried to keep playing," Wade said. "Trainers did a good job trying to stop it. I felt like a boxer."

The Memphis Grizzlies, on the other hand, is taking the game against the Heat as a test and a fire starter for them as they play back-to-back days against tough teams like the Heat on Friday and Pacers on Saturday.

"Obviously, we know who they are and this is a big test for us," guard Tony Allen told the NBA's official website. "Each game down the stretch is going to feel like a playoff game and we have to understand that each possession counts."
