Norwich City will face off against rival Sunderland on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Norwich City, coming out of a 4-2 loss to Southampton, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Norwich City Manager Chris Hughton said he understands his fan's criticisms, BBC Sports reports.

"We have more than 2,000 supporters who have travelled to watch the game and it's their club, and they want to see a team competing," he said, according to the site.

"What they saw for too long was a Southampton side that were better than us. It's never nice but you have to take the criticism on the chin."

Sunderland, coming out of a 0-0 tie with Crystal Palace, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Sunderland Manager Gus Poyet said he is only planning on another season within the Premiere League. Chronicle Live UK reports.

"I have to be honest - at the moment I have only made plans for the Premier League," Poyet said, according to the site.

"I hope it doesn't happen, but if we lose the next three games then maybe I will need to look at another plan!"
