On Sunday, March 23, six-member boy band Teen Top made K-Pop history by becoming the first group to successfully hold an international concert using a crowdsourcing platform.

Through the new website Krowdpop.com, K-Pop fans around the world come together to pre-fund concerts by their favorite Korean stars they might otherwise not have the opportunity to see perform live.

Teen Top, who debuted back in 2010, kicked off the North American leg of their 'High Kick' world tour and the newest trend sweeping the Hallyu Wave with their groundbreaking performance at the Best Buy Theater in New York City's Times Square over the weekend.

The two-hour-long concert was jam-packed with the group's old and new hits as well as a sprinkling of English-lanugage cover songs as a special treat for their American fans.

Fans who helped pre-fund the show were invited to an exclusive post-concert Hi-Touch event where they were able to get up close and personal and shake hands with each of the Teen Top members.
