Columbus Short Arrested: 'Scandal' Actor Columbus Short Charged With Felony After Bar Fight; Not the First Violent Arrest for Columbus Short

"Scandal" star Columbus Short is playing out his own scandal. Police issued a warrant for Short's arrest after a recent bar fight left another man unconscious.
Columbus Short plays the role of Harrison Wright on the hit ABC show "Scandal."
On Wednesday, Columbus Short was arrested on a felony charge that he seriously injured a man during an fight at a restaurant earlier this month.
In a statement the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said Columbus Short was accused of punching a man unconscious at a West Los Angeles restaurant on March 15.
A Los Angeles judge issued a warrant for the Scandal star's arrest after Short allegedly sucker punched a man at Gabe's Bar and Grill in Rancho Park, a local bar. Further details about the altercation were not released.
This isn't the first time Short's temper has gotten him in trouble. A source told HollywoodLife.com the Scandal star has "countless blow-ups" because of his "nasty temper."
Short was arrested for physically attacking his wife in front of his children in February at his Woodland Hills home at around 2 AM. Two weeks later, Short was arrested Chatsworth, Calif. after he and his wife got into a heated argument and he allegedly pushed her, according to the police. One month later, on March 15, Short was involved in a bar fight at an engagement party. Short allegedly broke a man's nose and knocked unconscious. But back in 2010, Short was prosecuted for a brutal attack on an L.A. basketball court when he punched a playe. Short pled no contest to disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to 3 years probation.
