Stoke City will face off against rival Hull City on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Stoke City, coming out of a 4-1 win over Aston Villa, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Stoke City Manager Mark Hughes said Peter Crouch is certainly an England World Cup candidate, The Guardian reports.

"Peter is an international-class player," Hughes said, according to the site.

"He's proven that and he's got a great record. He gives you a focal point and his link-up play is excellent. I thought he was outstanding again today."

Hull City, coming out of a 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Hull City Manager Steve Bruce made recent comments after losing to West Ham United and losing goalkeeper Allan McGregor. 

"Too often we're talking repeatedly about a decision that goes against you. We have to improve the standards," Bruce said, according to the site.

"If the referee gives the decision straight away I could understand but he didn't. I asked him if he made the decision and he said he did but it must have been two minutes before he gave it."
