Detroit continues overcome a series of injuries to key players and continue to be without captain Henrik Zetterberg (back) and star forward Pavel Datsyuk (knee). The Red Wings find themselves very much in place to get into the playoffs.

"We've been devastated this year, no question about it, but we found all these kids and we're better for it going ahead, so that's a positive thing," coach Mike Babcock said. "We've had a lot of fun doing it.

Ryan Callahan has been a welcoming addition for the Bolts since he was traded for Martin St. Louis. He scored twice in the win for Tampa Bay last night.

"It's funny how things work out. He's the guy who ends up being a big part of bailing you out in the end," Cooper told ESPN.com. "We've had a habit of making the highlight shows, both good and bad."

Injury report, according to NHL.com:

"The Lightning have no injuries. ... Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk (knee) skated with the team Friday, the first time since he last played Feb. 27; he will take part in a full practice Tuesday. Forward Stephen Weiss (sports hernia) and forward Justin Abdelkader (leg laceration) have been skating. Forwards Henrik Zetterberg (back), Justin Abdelkader (leg laceration), Daniel Cleary (knee) and Mikael Samuelsson (shoulder), and defenseman Jonathan Ericsson (finger fracture) are out."
