‘The Incredibles 2' Cast: Samuel L. Jackson To Reprise 'Frozone' Role! Did 'Iron Man 3' Rip Off The First 'Incredibles' Movie?

Since Pixar released 'The Incredibles' in 2004, fans have been clamoring for a sequel. Now that Pixar has confirmed that they will start the ball rolling for "The Incredibles 2" concerns about the cast have been raised.

The charismatic Samuel L. Jackson has teased that he will be back in the sequel to play Frozone again. The character has the power to freeze moisture, similar to Marvel's Iceman.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Samuel L. Jackson was candid enough to admit:

"Every time I run into Brad [Bird, director] he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that. I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there."

In typical Samuel L. Jackson fashion, he also mentioned the comment: "I'm just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into."

Jack-jack is the youngest of the Parr family, and he displayed strange powers at the end of the movie. Jack-jack was portrayed as a toddler, and it was a subject of speculation on what his exact powers were. Nick Fury's curiosity was also aroused.

Frozone provided comic relief and a whole lot of cool (pardon the pun) to the first "Incredibles" film. Speaking of the first Incredibles, not a few people noticed that there were too many similarities between that film and "Iron Man 3." Some avid movie fans are even crying "Rip-Off!"

In a video by How It Should Have Ended (and eventually pointed out in movie forums) they note the following:

The villain in the Incredibles, Syndrome, was a scorned fan of Mr. Incredible. The rejection influenced him to become a super-villain. In IM3, Aldrich Killian was rejected by Tony Stark when he requested for an appointment.

Both villains capture their respective idols and eventually both heroes were rescued by their significant other (Elastigirl for Mr. Incredible, Pepper Potts for Iron Man).

Both heroes have a black sidekick (Frozone and War Machine) and they have scenes where they were looking for their respective 'supersuits.' The two movies also had the same underlying theme of super heroes struggling to have a normal life.
