The Portland Trail Blazers have been doing better since LaMarcus Aldridge returned in the lineup from a back contusion. Aldridge scored 28 points behind the 52 percent field goal percentage of the team on their Sunday night’s 105-98 win over the Grizzles.

"LA (LaMarcus Aldridge) coming back has brought us back to what we do and how we do it," said reserve guard Mo Williams, who had 17 points in the last outing.

Aldridge bounced back after winning against Chicago 91-74 on Friday after shooting just two out of 10 from the field and only finishing with five points.

"I'm a little sore," Aldridge told the team's official website. "It definitely woke up my little contusion, but I'm OK."

The Los Angeles Lakers on the other hand, are sure out of the playoffs but has been doing some dirty work by giving losses to top seeded teams in the past few games, beating the Suns and Knicks by double digits in Staples Center and will try to hurt the Blazers as well.

"We're trying to be the player-haters of the year," guard Kendall Marshall said. "That's definitely what we're trying to do, and we embrace it. We want to keep teams out of the playoffs and mess up seedings."
