With six games remaining, Toronto is two points in back of Columbus for the second wild-card spot. The Blue Jackets will be home against Colorado on Tuesday. Washington is right in the mix, trailing the Jackets by one point, will be home against the Dallas Stars. The Devils have creeped to within three points and are on the road vs the Sabres. With an overtime win last night, the Senators are now four points back. This one could easily come down to the last game of the season.

"We've won six in a row in the season," goalie Jonathan Bernier told NHL.com. "Obviously it's hard to snap the long losing streak like that, but we've got to find a way."

The Leafs saw their woes continue in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Detroit, which owns the first wild-card spot with 84 points.

"This loss is the most disappointing out of the eight. There's no hiding that," captain Dion Phaneuf told NHL.com. "We come tonight against a team that was battling for that same spot and they win this hockey game. This is the toughest loss for sure."

Calgary looks to bounce back from a 6-3 loss against the Ottawa Senators on Sunday. The Flames haven't dropped back-to-back games in three weeks.

"We have to be ready for a really desperate team," Flames defenseman Mark Giordano said after practice Monday. "I watched a few of [Toronto's] games lately. I watched the first period against Detroit and they were playing well, they were desperate and they came out flying, so we have to be ready for that same sort of push from them."
