A Pink’s ‘Innocence’ Vs Crayon Pop’s ‘Comic’ - Who Will Be The Victor?

A Pink's innocence went up against Crayon Pop's comedy.

On April 1st A Pink's new song "Mr. Chu" ranked number 1 on Mnet, Olleh Music, Genie, and Monkey 3 music charts. Crayon Pop's new song "Uh-ee" ranked number 1 on Bugs and Soribada.

According to MelOn Charts, which is responsible for 60% of source distribution, "Mr. Chu" ranked 3rd and "Uh-ee" ranked 16th. In light of MelOn charts, Crayon Pop falls far behind. Crayon Pop should be at an advantage since they released their song one day later, but when we look to charts for evidence, A Pink is the victor.

A Pink released their mini 4th album Pink Blossom on March 31st. At the time they ranked 1st on 8 different charts, and revealed through their agency, "We're very proud. During our schedule we checked the response, but we're so thankful and happy that we are being so loved. We will do our best to show you that we're working harder. We want to show you the performance as soon as possible."

A Pink is still appealing with their innocence and youthful image, even 4 years into their debut. Their last mini 3rd album Secret Garden was released in July, so fans had high expectations for their new album in 9 months. "Mr. Chu" is a joint product of hitmaker Duble Sidekick and SEION. It's a pop dance song that tells the heart-pounding thrill of a first kiss with a lover. The various effects create an exciting rhythm to maximize A Pink's refreshing and cute appeal. "Mr. Chu~ over the lips chu~/ Sweetly chu~" chorus lyrics get stuck in your head.

A Pink will hold their comeback performance on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on the 4th, and also perform on MBC's "Show! Music Core" and SBS' "Inkigayo."
