Crayon Pop's “Uh-ee” Deemed Inappropriate for Broadcast, but Has Been Edited
Crayon Pop's new track "Uh-ee" was previously deemed inappropriate for broadcast due to using Japanese expressions. Agency claimed that they have fixed the lyrics for reappeal.
Staff explained: "KBS recently ruled the song unsuitable for broadcast, and in response, we edited the lyrics to be acceptable".
Staff added, "There will be no edits for SBS or MBC".
KBS explained their logic for their ruling: "Crayon Pop's "Uh-ee" lyrics contain expressions and words rooted in the Japanese language".
Meanwhile, Crayon Pop will stage their comeback show on Mnet's "Global M Countdown".
