It's hard to be a solo artist in an idol group world, and NS Yoon-G revealed that even her fans recognize her struggle. When a person searches an idol's name, usually their related songs, dramas, scandals etc. show up. But for NS Yoon-G, it is always a single question: 'Why can't NS Yoon-G get famous?'

While NS Yoon-G debuted five years ago, she revealed on Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook that many Koreans still don't recognize her. Yoo Hee-yeol started the conversation by saying he had tried to search her name up, but was shocked by the fact that the first search term that came up was the shocking question.

NS Yoon-G admitted that she had also searched her name and had seen that fans were concerned about the fact that someone who debuted five years ago can't seem to compete with idol groups.

However, her mother wasn't very supportive when NS Yoon-G discovered the question. 'If we knew [the answer,] you'd already be famous.'

Even though it was a touchy subject, NS Yoon-G had a good attitude and caused a lot of laughs with her story about her mother.

NS Yoon-G revealed that the netizens had given two reasons for her lack of popularity: First, because of idol groups, and second, because she's not so talented. In response to the second, NS Yoon-G said that she would try harder and revealed that was why she took a year off.

Even though she debuted five years ago and still has yet to achieve much fame, NS Yoon-G is proud of the fact that she stuck it out; she is the only solo artist who has lasted five years.

Along with the interview, NS Yoon-G performed a cover of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' with a live band, and a sexy performace of her own song 'Yasisi.'
