Actor Kim Soo Hyun donated $300,000 to Ansan's Danwon High School to comfort the loss of their students to the Sewol sinking.

According to sources, Kim Soo Hyun will personally deliver the sum of money to Danwon High School.

Kim Soo Hyun, who currently remains active in promotion in China, was known to have been in grief over the Sewol crisis. Leaving Korea to China for Samsung promotions, he had been restless and eager for news of more survivors of Sewol.

Staff stated: "Kim Soo Hyun wishes for the money to be spent on supporting teachers and students in their recovery from the trauma resulting from the incident. Although he grieves for the victims, he also looked for ways to help those around them psychologically and physically he hopes for their speedy recovery".

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun previously donated $200,000 to Chinese children and teenagers.
