WAPOP, Korea's Hallyu culture concert, will discontinue their performances to join in their grief of the Sewol ferry sinking incident.

On April 25, WAPOP stated: "We judged that it would not be right for us to perform when the country is in such sadness. We will cancel performances for now".

WAPOP is a K-Pop live concert targeted towards international fans visiting Korea. It was held every Saturday at Seoul's Children's Park, but it has stopped performances since last week.

WAPOP staff stated: "We will announce when performances will begin again".
