Actress Jun Ji Hyun, known for her work in SBS drama "My Love from the Star", delivered $100,000 to the Korean Red Cross to be used for the victims and families of the Sewol incident.

On April 29, the Korean Red Cross explained that they found out about Jun Ji Hyun's donation when they saw the $100,000 donated under the name "Wang Ji Hyun".

Jun Ji Hyun's close source stated: "Jun Ji Hyun had been mourning at the news of the Sewol victims and families. She hopes that the remaining families would not lose hope. Although the donation is only a tiny bit of her heart, she wanted to share in the families' grief".

Jun Ji Hyun, who had previously donated her wedding gifts in 2012, canceled her campaign event on April 17 and joined in the mourning.
