Sonnet Son Releases “Everyday Different Tears” on April 30

Singer Sonnet Son released her new song "Everyday Different Tears" through online music stores on April 30.

The new song "Everyday Different Tears" is supported by hip-hop group Freestyle to create an urban pop genre, carrying a trendy rhythm and heartbreaking melody.

Freestyle's member DJ Zio contributed in the writing of the music, while Mino wrote the lyrics to the tragic love story after a breakup.

Sonnet Son demonstrated a groovy but restrained vocal technique in contrast to her explosive voice in her cover of "Let it Go" and digital single "I'm Okay, Now" released on April 1.

Sonnet Son's agency Fortune Entertainment stated: "Although Sonnet Son's second mini album was scheduled for release on April 30, we have decided to cancel all album release and promotions after the sinking of the Sewol. We are instead releasing a sad single that fits in with the society's mood".

Sonnet Son has gained popularity by winning Mnet's "Voice of Korea: Season 1" in 2012, being loved by global fans despite her young age. Recently, MC Ryan Seacrest has ranked her cover of "Let It Go" as #6 on the best "Let It Go" cover contest. Her cover has also been included in Entertainment Weekly's Top 10 "Let It Go" Covers.
