Singer Ben talked about her short height of 147.5cm.

Ben recently filmed a photo shoot with the magazine GanGee. During the interview, Ben said, "I actually didn't think I was short when I was young. But when I started preparing to be a singer, I started getting really self-conscious about my height. I went to a music school in high school and the principal gave me an opportunity to go out on an audition but I didn't do well. I was thinking about why I didn't make it and I started to think that it was because of my appearance."

She continued, "Starting from then, I became more and more insecure. The mindset that 'A celebrity has to be tall, skinny, and pretty' was engraved into my head. One day, I cried while complaining to my mom before going to school."

But Ben showed off her great singing skills through KBS 2TV "Immortal Song" and got the nickname 'Little Lee Sun Hee'. Her complex has now become her trademark.

Ben said, "I started getting more and more confident. Every time fans tell me, 'You're so pretty' and 'I love your music', I still feel awkward. I can't believe that people recognize me. But I'm so thankful."
