Aaron Hernandez Murder Case: New England Patriots’ Former Tight End Gets Indictment In Jailhouse Ruckus; Victim Scared To Go After The Athlete?

Aaron Hernandez's murder case is still on trial but the athlete got another indictment on Thursday following a jailhouse ruckus. However, the victim and former inmate will probably not testify against the former New England Patriots' tight end.

The indictment for assault and battery was handed down by a grand jury in Bristol County following the altercation on February 25 in which no man was seriously injured. Aaron Hernandez was also indicted on allegations that he threatened a jailhouse worker back in November.

He will then be arraigned for the charges so he can enter his plea, according to CNN.

Meanwhile, Andrew Booker who was the subject of the attack was already freed from jail and even took to slamming Aaron Hernandez for "hitting like a bitch."

His attorney, Mike Maloney, however told TMZ that Andrew Booker has no intention of going after Aaron Hernandez because "he doesn't want to be a rat."

The Bristol County Sheriff's Office vowed to look into the altercation since, based on protocol, "no more than one inmate is supposed to be out at a time," CNN said.

The prosecution in the Aaron Hernandez's murder case earlier took a huge blow after dropping a star witness who flip-flopped on his earlier sworn statement that linked the former football star to the murder of Odin Lloyd.

A recent Aaron Hernandez murder case update involves two of his associates who were indicted for murder charges when they allegedly helped New England Patriots' former star kill another person, prompting the defense lawyers to accuse prosecutors of harassment.

Also last month, Ernest Wallace, 42, and Carlos Ortiz, 28, who were earlier charged as accessories, were indicted after Bristol DA C. Samuel Sutter elevated the charges against the two in relation to Aaron Hernandez' murder case.

The District Attorney's Office did not give any reason for the change, according to Boston Globe.
