May's K-Pop Scene to Feature Mature Artists g.o.d & Wheesung

Artists have started trickling back in to the K-pop scene after the Sewol incident three weeks ago had put a pause on comebacks. On May 8, god returns as a whole group while Wheesung makes a comeback on the 12th after 2 years and 7 months of break. Fly to the Sky and Baek Ji Young return on May 19.

According to SIDUS HQ, god plans to release their first single in celebration of their 15th anniversary. In July, the group hosts a solo concert on July 12-13 with an official album release. Staff had previously stated that 100% of the proceeds of the single album will go directly to the victims' families of the Sewol incident. The staff also claimed: "god's comeback was decided after a long period of deliberation because all the members had been active in their respective fields. It was only possible because of the fans' support".

Wheesung comes back with mini album The Best Man. The album, consisting of 7 songs including title song "Night and Day", carries a more mature Wheesung in his completeness. The album features songs by composer Kim Do Hoon and others, while Wheesung himself put all efforts into the producing and lyrics-writing of all tracks.

Fly to the Sky releases 9th album CONTINUUM while Baek Ji Young releases her single "Still Hot" on May 19.
