LG G Watch Release Date: Smart watches have been the latest trend among gadgets nowadays and this LG G watch release might be a game changer.

With the help of Google, LG G Watch will be introduced and will be powered by Android and will be the first of the lines of wearable gadgets, which they will call Android Wear.

The new “game-changing” smart watch is expected to be out on July with a price of around $300.

The LG G Watch powered by the Android Wear technology tells you the time, location of a place, reads text messages, answers calls and a whole lot of functions that your smart phone can do; all that power controlled on your wrist.

Google shows an example on how the Android Wear would work for consumers on an everyday life. The video would show how people can communicate, get directions and even dance to the watch.

According to Google Android Wear’s site:

“Small, powerful devices, worn on the body. Useful information when you need it most. Intelligent answers to spoken questions. Tools to help reach fitness goals. Your key to a multiscreen world.”

Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics, said in March: “The opportunity to work with Google on LG G Watch was the perfect chance for LG to really pull out all stops in both design and engineering.

“With the LG G Watch, LG is continuing the milestones we’ve set in wearables following in the footsteps of the world’s first 3G Touch Watch Phone in 2009 and the Prada Link in 2008. We’re confident that a well-designed device has the potential to take the smart wearable market by storm.”

It was reported that other Android powered companies and manufacturers such as HTC, Motorola and Samsung would release and create other Android Wear watches this year that would surely be the next generation of gadgets.
