LG G3 Release Date: Leaked Images Suggest Brushed Metal Body, Or Is It Just Coated Plastic?

LG G3 release date: LG's flagship smartphone will finally launch at the end of the month, but as early as now we are already seeing countless of leaked images of its high-end Android device.

This time, an image from Phone Arena gives us a detailed look at the back cover of the LG G3. Aside from the fact that there would be three color options (black, white, and gold at the top part of the image), we also see that the G3's back cover looks similar to the one found in HTC's One M8.

There is the brushed metal finish that seems to be getting popular these days, certainly providing the 'premium look' everyone is looking for in a high-end flagship device.

However, right now we cannot verify if the LG G3 will indeed come with a brushed metal back cover, or just a brushed metal paintjob.

In the past, we have seen smartphones use this kind of technique, not to fool consumers into buying the device - but making it sure that their phones look better than their competitors in the same spec and price range.

Aside from the back cover design, another feature that will sure be anticipated during the LG G3 release date is the volume rockers and power button at the back of the smartphone. Also on board is a camera that is reportedly a 13MP shooter, an LED flash on the right, and a rumored infrared sensor at the left side.

While we still do not know how this sensor works, we won't hope for anything yet unless LG makes the announcement itself.

In case you have missed rumors, the LG G3 is expected to pack a 5.5-inch QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) display, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, and Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.

We will sure to keep you posted during the LG G3's unveiling by the end of the month.
