U-KISS Reveals New Member Joon Who Will Join For June Comeback

Fans are already excited to hear about group U-KISS' June comeback.

The idol group got fans even more pumped up when they recently revealed that their new member, Joon, will be appearing with the group next month.

On May 15, NH Media revealed a picture of the new member by mistake and stated that Joon will begin promoting with the group for their upcoming return.

"We regret that the photo of the new member was leaked due to a mistake by the staff. The new member will join during promotions for the album releasing in June. Following the leave of U-KISS' maknae Dongho, this person will surely fill in the empty space. Look forward to the transformed U-KISS," announced the agency.

Joon was born in 1997 and is 6' 1'' and is being recognized as a talented singer and dancer who will add to the performances of the group.

U-KISS previously held an audition in search for a new member after Dongho left last October, according to Allkpop.

Although U-KISS is now a seven-member group, the group may still have to promote as six members for their new album because AJ has taken temporary leave for his studies at Columbia University.

The group's agency NH Media gave fans an update on AJ's status via their homepage on the 12th, writing, "AJ has been in the States since January to complete his studies and after completing his studies, he will return to the group to carry out their domestic activities."

NH Media continued, "We couldn't come to an agreement with the school's reps so it would be difficult to adjust his schedule. Thus, [AJ] will have to continue to his studies this semester. . . He will not be able to take part in [U-KISS's] activities for this album."
