Amanda Knox Murder Case Update: CCTV Exonerates ‘Foxy Knoxy?’ Woman In Video Clip Believed To Be 'Foxy Knoxy' Is Obese

Amanda Knox murder case update takes a different turn as the CCTV footage, earlier released by Italian TV investigative show, might even exonerate "Foxy Knoxy" as the film showed that the woman near Meredith Kercher's apartment on the night she was murdered was "obese."

An Italian TV investigative show, Quarto Grado, released the CCTV footage showing a figure who looked like Amanda Knox walking at the parking lot of the flat that she shared with Meredith Kercher. The TV show claimed that the footage was taken on the night of the murder.

But groundreport.com said that Amanda Knox murder case conviction would be reversed if the whole trial was based on the CCTV footage alone because the unidentified woman "displays a unique body type that is unquestionably incompatible with Amanda Knox: she is obese."

"Quite possibly, morbidly obese," it added.

In fact, Karen Pruett of groundreport.com wrote that the CCTV footage was shown to investigators prior to the Amanda Knox murder case trial in 2007 and was quickly discarded because it proved the woman wasn't the convicted killer "Foxy Knoxy."

She also said that the prosecutor who prosecuted Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito had "falsely accused over 20 people of crimes they did not commit," which should have been grounds for the media to dig deeper.

Amanda Knox earlier defended herself in an interview with CNN, claiming that there's no forensic evidence like fingerprints, hair or DNA that would tie her down to the crime.

"I did not kill my friend. I did not wield a knife. I had no reason to," she said, adding that they have become friends in the month that they spent together in one flat.

"A week before the murder occurred, we went out to a classical music concert together ... We had never fought," Amanda Knox added.
