Nokia Lumia 2520 Review, News: Specs Of Tablet Incl. 10.1-inch Display, Quad-Core Processor; Look, Feel & Function Makes It Seem Like One Big Lumia Phone

Nokia Lumia 2520 review, news: Specs of the 10.1-inch Nokia Lumia 2520 includes some striking similarities with Lumia smartphones. Except of it having a 6-inch screen, it has a 10.1-inch display. Similar to the Nokia Lumia 1520 it has a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor that clocks in at 2.2 GHz.

A report from the Australian Financial Review noted that the processor under the hood of the Nokia Lumia 2520 showed up as very fast in benchmarks in run. But though this tablet has a lot of remarkable qualities, the AFR notes that a “mental discipline is required” from the user to not think it’s a phone or a Windows PC.

“We’ve gone through that range of mistaken thoughts many times, and then back again, in the six days we’ve been using the tablet here in the Labs. It has been odd, to say the least,” says John Davidson of the AFR.

The tech writer says that when you first get your hands on a Lumia 2520, the similarities between the tablet and Nokia’s other mobile handsets are startling. The Windows RT powered tablet has the same, beautiful and sleek polycarbonate back, plus same gorgeous feel and look of a Nokia Lumia phone.

The display of the Lumia 2520, with a 1080 x 1920 pixel display is something highly commendable. It has wonderful, deeply saturdated colors and is terrific to use outdoors thanks to its brightness and low reflectivity.

Nokia says that the tablet’s screen is “best in class” for outdoor readability and in the sunlight, where some smartphones or tablets lose out against, the Lumia 2520 puts other displays to shame.

One reason one might think why a Nokia Lumia 2520 is a phone is its possession of a micro USB 3.0 port. It’s similar to what you can find on a Samsung Galaxy S5.

The difference in modes as well, where it can run desktop or tablet-mode makes it feel like you’re holding an oversized Nokia smartphone.
