Sony recently released a new Gran Turismo 6 update showcasing a new car and game features.

One of the significant changes to find after installing the freshest Gran Turismo 6 update, which is patch 1.07, is the addition of the BMW Vision Gran Turismo, which is a "modern road racer created by the BMW design team, resurrecting the excitement and passion of 1970′s touring cars in present day form," as described on the PS Blog.

Accordingly, after getting the Gran Turismo 6 update, players can purchase the new BMW Vision car from the Vision GT option found withing the CARS section location in My Home. The post further reads, "Alternatively, it is also possible to obtain the car by completing a lap (regardless of the lap time) in the new Seasonal Event, available only for a limited time."

In addition to the BMW car, the Gran Turismo 6 update also brings in additional features in the Open Lobby. For instance, the Endurance Race has been added to the Room Mode option. Also, the Tyre/Fuel Depletion was also added to Time Trial Settings options. Check out other new features for the Open Lobby below:

Start Type has been added to the Race Settings for Qualifier, Time Trial and Drift Trial, allowing you to select from Final Corner Start or Pit Start.

When Grid Start with False Start Check is selected in Race Settings, signal lights will be displayed as start indicators.

Meanwhile, below are the changes made to Replay And Watch Race modes of the game:

Button controls can now be used to switch between Full View and Live Timing, turn the Driver List Display ON/OFF, switch the Information Display and change the target car.

The Keyboard Switching Feature has been added. A USB keyboard can be used to switch the Information Display and to change the view.
