Xiaomi, the maker of the Xiaomi Mi3, is scheduled to expand to 10 more markets this year for its mobile division. It’s also rumored to be working on the next variant following the Xiaomi Mi3.

"Xiaomi is coming to 10 countries in 2014! Malaysia, Philippines, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Russia, Turkey, Brazil and Mexico…,” it recently tweeted in its official Twitter account.

Though the company has received huge positive attention for its products and millions of users in the Chinese market, plus a positive remark by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, not everyone is impressed with its flagship.

Some reviewers note that despite its beautiful design, impressive look and top-notch specs, the Xiaomi Mi3 is not yet at par with the flagships made by tech giants Samsung, LG, Apple and Google.

Xiaomi Mi3 costs $327 for the 16GB model, while the 64GB model has a price tag of $410. The manufacturer touts it as the “fastest phone form Xiaomi.Ever.”

Xiaomi Mi 3 according to GizChina has a camera that makes high quality photos much better than the normal phone. The handset, which was officially unveiled last September is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra-4 chipset with 1.8GHz. It’s also available with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800.

Testing a Mi3 prototype, PC Mag noted that the build of the Xiaomi flagship is similar to the body of a Nokia Lumia 920. The publication described it as “heavy, with smooth rolled, a big glass screen and a broad speaker grille.”

PCMag said that the Mi3 looks great before you turn it on, but after about five minutes, the unit didn’t feel like it had the finish of the latest top-of-the-line phones.

The Xiaomi Mi3 features 2GB of RAM, 13MP Sony Exymor RCMOS rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and a 3,050 mAh battery. The handset also features the company’s latest MIUI interface.
