New Android Phones 2014: LG Outs Entry-Level L35 Handset To Rival Moto E, Costs Only $180 In Brazil

New Android phones 2014: During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, LG announced a number of entry-level to midrange devices aside from its Korean-only flagship G Pro 2. A couple of months later, one of the entry-level handsets make it to the market, at least in Brazil initially.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the LG L35 is finally out and is currently available in Brazil for only R$399 or about $180. So what's special with this smartphone? Well, you already read it - its cheap pricing.

The LG L35 has recently been spotted on LG's official website in Germany so that means the budget smartphone may be on its way and would hit the country in the following weeks.

If you are interested in the LG L35's specs, you may get disappointed, but these are the specs one would expect from an entry-level smartphone.

The L35 packs just a 3.2-inch display which can be unforgivable for most Android fans, but reasonable for those looking for a very compact smartphone. The Android handset runs on a dual-core CPU running at 1.2GHz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

Also on board is a microSD card slot, a relatively small 1,540mAh battery, a 3MP primary camera at the back and surprisingly Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box. This means in spite the LG L35's entry-level specs, it would be able to run smoother and faster due to KitKat's ecosystem.

In the report, the LG L35 is also expected to have dual-SIM support just like all the members of LG's L series.

However, if you think about the phone's specs and compare it to Motorola's Moto G and E, the L35's specs definitely do not stand a chance. If LG wants this phone to sell, the price tag should be much lower.
