LG G3 Release Date: Case Covers Already Available Via Amazon Ahead Of Smartphone's Launch

LG G3 release date: The upcoming LG flagship is not even announced yet, but it looks like Amazon retailers are already aiming to bank on the G3's success when it goes official.

For the past months, we have been getting lots of rumors, leaked images, and other details about LG's upcoming flagship device. And it certainly looks like its announcement is just around the corner.

In fact, even Amazon retailers are looking forward to the LG G3's launch as they put up pages for case covers of the device.

Considering that there are already cases for the LG G3, then LG itself might have already sent out the smartphone dimensions to case makers and other accessory partners of the company.

So while the LG G3 release date is not here yet, we may already take a look at some of the images which would give us full details of the Android phone's design.

In case you have not been attention to rumors lately, the LG G3 is expected to get a 5.5-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, a Snapdragon 805 chipset, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal memory with option for microSD card slot expansion.

Also on board is a 13MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 2MP front facing cam, and Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat out of the box.

As far as the design is concerned, the LG G3 is tipped to sport a brushed metal finish, with the volume and power button located at the back.

The LG G3 flagship is expected to take on the heavyweights in its home country such as Pantech and Samsung, as well as some surprising contenders like Oppo and OnePlus. Meanwhile, both Samsung and HTC are preparing their 'Prime' smartphones to make the competition more interesting.
