Maroon 5 New Album 2014 ‘V’ Release Date, Tour Dates To Follow In The Next Few Weeks, Definitely Not Disbanding

Maroon 5 announced the release date for their new album, 'V, making it one of the most highly anticipated albums of the summer 2014. Maroon 5 promised to release the tour dates in the next few weeks. This may be a chance for Adam Levine to show off his new blond coiffure to middle America. Time to start hounding the band's website!

The new album 'V' release date is September 2. If that's too far away for you, then you will be glad to know that Maroon 5 is planning to drop their singles throughout the summer months.

Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5 as well as a coach on 'The Voice', posted a teaser on his Instagram a few days ago:

After years of releasing just singles and being plagued with the rumors of disbanding, Maroon 5 is gaining some momentum back. In 2008, Adam Levine confessed to Daily Mail that he toyed with the idea of discontinuing the band.

"Eventually I want to focus on being a completely different person because I don't know if I want to do this into my 40s and 50s and beyond, like the Rolling Stones," he said.

But have no fear, fans! With the return of Jesse Carmichael, the long-lost keyboardist and one of the original members of the band, Maroon 5 seems to be stronger than ever. Jesse rejoins the band after a two-year hiatus. It turns out that was just enough time for Adam Levin's band mate to focus on his studies of "music and the healing arts."

The band made his return and their upcoming album 'V' Twitter official as well:

Maroon 5's new album 'V' accrued an impressive list of producers like Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin. The band also signed a global-tour deal with Live Nation, which also organizes tours for Katy Perry, Eminem, Beyonce and more.
