Titanfall PC News And Update: Latest Patch Removes CTF And Pilot Hunter Modes; Expedition DLC Available; Companion App Out On Android!

The latest Titanfall PC news reports that the latest patch that was released removed 2 game modes.

Titanfall PC players have recently received a game update that instead of adding more features, it took away two modes - Capture the Flag and Pilot Hunter. Geek.com posted that this change made to Titanfall PC is actually an "improvement," according to the game developer.

As posted on International Business Times, citing Respawn Entertainment's, the reason "seems to boil down to the lack of demand and efficiency for other players."

Respawn shared on the official website of the game that users haven't been widely using CTF and Pilot Hunter modes in Titanfall PC.

The post particularly reads, "We have an amazing and large PC audience with the vast majority of users predominantly playing Attrition and Hardpoints game modes. CTF and Pilot Hunter have not been widely used modes on the PC version.

The developer further stated, "Players trying to access these modes had overlong wait times to find other users and it was making for a poor experience."

So to make the overall gaming experience better, "Respawn is herding those people into other game modes with almost zero wait," as reported on Geek.com website.

As for other Titanfall PC news, the first of the three downloadable contents for the game has already been released. Titanfall Expedition DLC brings in 3 new multiplayer maps. The price to buy this Titanfall DLC as a standalone purchase is $9.99. However, gamers can get the Season Pass worth $24.99 to instantly have the Titanfall Expedition DLC, as well as the other DLC packs as they arrive.

Another Titanfall PC news and update recently popped reporting that a companion app for the game is now available for Android devices. This Titanfall companion app will give players access to exclusive information about the game world, weapons, characters and more. This Titanfall app will also give players quick access to all of his or her game stats. Furthermore, connecting the app to Xbox One console will provide players a real-time map of everything happening around.

"The map even features filters and points of interest that the in-game map doesn't, so there's a bit of incentive to downloading beyond just being able to see a bigger outline of the land," Phandroid report mentioned.

But unfortunately, the Titanfall app is not compatible with the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
