Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Rumors, Release Date: New Android Phablet Gets 5.7" Display, QHD (2560 x 1440) Resolution, Will It Have 3-Sided View?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 rumors, release date: Samsung may be working on a premium version of its Galaxy S5 flagship, but that does not mean that the Korean manufacturer has forgotten its phablet lineup. And in a new report, the upcoming Android device would get the largest screen among the Note series.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a source has recently leaked a spec table of Samsung's upcoming Android handsets, including the Galaxy S5 mini, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S5 Prime, and the Galaxy Note 4.

In the leaked document, the Galaxy S5 mini would be a miniature flagship with its 4.5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution. Meanwhile, as we all know the Galaxy S5 packs a 5.1-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.

On the other hand, the upcoming premium version of the S5, 'Prime', gets 5.2 inches of screen real estate with a whopping QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution.

Last on the list is the N910 or otherwise known as the Galaxy Note 4. While the document says it will have a 5.7-inch display, it could get even bigger if we consider Samsung's previous design strategy.

Since the Galaxy Note, the screen for the Note smartphones has increased by 0.2 inches every year. And because the Galaxy Note 3 has a 5.7-inch display, it is highly probable that the Note 4 would get 5.9 inches.

Another plus on the Note 4 is its QHD display, which would soon become the staple for flagship devices.

There are still a lot of things we do not know about the Galaxy Note 4 release date and rumors, though we are particularly interested with the idea that it would get a 3-sided YOUM display which was showcased a while back.

Other rumored specs include a 20.1MP primary camera, the latest Android version and water and dust resistance.
