The Evil Within Release Date Set For August 26! First Installment For Prequel Comic Series Priced At $4 Arriving A Day After The Game’s US Launch
"The Evil Within" release date is set for August 26.
The forthcoming Bethesda horror game, The Evil Within, from Shinji Mikami will be available on various consoles and on PC on August 26. And a day after the official The Evil Within release date, fans will be able to get the first installment of the prequel comic series.
The first installment for The Evil Within comic series, which is 32-pages long will be available in the market on August 27 for $4, according to Gamespot. Titan Comics announced that a four-part series showcasing the event before the game will be released.
According to NerdReactor.com, the comic series stars Dana, who is a "young girl who is seeking out her missing friend. Instead she finds herself caught in a world she can't escape from."

The gameplay the Evil Within, as described on the European PS Blog, reads:
"While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead. Facing unimaginable terror, and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel what's behind this evil force."
