Borderlands 2 PS Vita: Patch 1.12 For PS3 Version Adds Cross-Save Support For The PlayStation Vita; Latest Update 112 MB In Size

Borderlands 2 gets an update adding cross-save functionality for PS Vita and PS3.

Sony announced via Twitter that the Borderlands 2 PS Vita update is now out. And one of the significant features to find after getting the Borderlands 2 PS Vita update is the cross-save option, which enables the gamers to continue playing the same saved file on both PS3 and PS Vita systems.

The patch 1.12 received by Borderlands 2 PS3 version is 112 MB in size, according to PSU.com.

Borderlands 2 is an action role-playing loot-and-shooter game and it features six previously release DLC packs, as reported on Joystiq. These downloadable contents include "Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, the Psycho and Mechromancer classes, and Ultimate Vault Hunter's Upgrade and Collector's Edition packs."

As described on ESRB, Borderlands 2 is a "first-person shooter in which players join rebel forces to take down an oppressive corporation on the fictional planet of Pandora. As players explore open-world environments, they complete missions to gain experience and increase their characters' skills/abilities."

The PlayStation Vita version of Borderlands 2 was released in May 2014. It was ported by Iron Galaxy Studios In collaboration with Gearbox.

The game series is expecting another all-new title this year called Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, which is expected to be available for PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
