Hip Hop Group M.I.B Holds Successful Japan ZEPP Concert With 6,000 Fans

Hip hop group M.I.B held 4 successful concerts in Japan on May 17 and 18.

2 of the concerts were held at the Osaka ZEPP Namba while the other 2 took place at the Tokyo ZEPP DiverCity.

The group met with 6,000 local fans and performed a list of their popular songs including "G.D.M," "WHO AM I," "Celebrate" and more.

The concerts lasted for approximately 2 hours, allowing fans ample time to fully enjoy the music.

M.I.B also held a variety of events that included showing fans live backstage footage.

The group has been steadily expanding its popularity since it debuted back in 2009.

Their first studio album was titled "Most Incredible Busters." The group made their official debut on M! Countdown with their song "G.D.M" (Girls, Dreams, Money).

The group proved their strong presence in the Korean music industry with an invitation to perform at the recent concert in Myanmar.

Six weeks have passed since the release of M.I.B's most recent album, "The Maginot Line," which has further contributed to the Korean hip hop group's skyrocketing fame.

When the group recently made an appearance on "Yoo Heeyeol's Sketchbook," they revealed that a lot of work went into their latest album, which has increased the pressure put on the album's success.

"Depending on how this album goes, M.I.B's path will be decided. Thus, 'The Maginot Line.' We've endured a lot over these three years, we've prepared and researched a lot. I feel like this album can be our Maginot Line," stated leader 5Zic.

M.I.B will be attending the KBS "Music Bank in Brazil" concert this July. An invite to be a part of the World Cup concert in July is evidence of how far the group has come.

However, leader 5Zic has far more extensive expectations for the group.

"We want to perhaps rank high on the charts. You know, like really high. I thought we'd easily be in the top 10. But it was a fantasy. That's why we're going to work harder," stated 5Zic.
